I, .........................................................., being an Official Veterinarian authorised by the veterinary authority of …………………………..(country of origin) certify to official knowledge, with respect to the apiary of origin and honey bee semen identified in this Zoosanitary Certificate, that:

  1. The semen originates from honey bees from ……………….………………. (country of origin).

  2. The presence of honey bees with Africanised genetics (Apis mellifera scutellata) or Cape honey bees (Apis mellifera capensis) has never been reported in the country of origin.

  3. The apiary of origin is approved for export of bee semen and is subject to inspection (at least annually) by a Government approved apiaries inspector to audit the facilities and procedures to ensure hygienic collection of honey bee semen.
